Returns and Refunds Policy
At B&D Relief Services, we want customers to be satisfied with their purchases. This policy explains how to contact us about returns, damaged products, incorrect orders, and refunds.
1. Your Consumer Rights
Under Australian Consumer Law, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or another remedy when a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
These rights depend on the circumstances and cannot be excluded by this policy. Our policy does not replace or limit your statutory rights.
2. Damaged, Faulty, Incorrect, or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, incomplete, or does not arrive, please contact us at info@bdreliefservices.com.
Please provide:
-
Your order number.
-
A description of the issue.
-
Photographs, where relevant and reasonably available.
We will assess the issue and advise you of the next steps. Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, this may include a replacement, refund, repair where applicable, or another appropriate resolution.
3. Change-of-Mind Returns
If you change your mind about a purchase, contact us to ask whether a return is available.
B&D Relief Services' change-of-mind return period: 1 - 3 days
Where a change-of-mind return is accepted, the product must meet the conditions confirmed by our team. These may include being unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
We will advise you of any applicable return postage costs before the return proceeds.
4. Personal Care and Hygiene Products
For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used personal care products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
This restriction does not remove your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, incorrect, unsafe, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us so we can assess the issue and provide any remedy required by law.
5. How to Request a Return
To request a return or report a problem:
-
Email info@bdreliefservices.com with your order number.
-
Explain why you are requesting a return or refund.
-
Include relevant photographs or supporting information where appropriate.
-
Wait for our instructions before sending an item back.
Please do not send products to an address that has not been confirmed by our team.
6. Refund Assessment and Processing
Once we have reviewed your request and, where necessary, received and assessed the returned product, we will inform you of the outcome.
If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method unless another method is agreed upon or required by law.
The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.
Any refund required under Australian Consumer Law will be handled in accordance with the applicable requirements.
7. Return Shipping Costs
Responsibility for return shipping costs will depend on the reason for the return and applicable consumer law.
Where a product has a problem covered by a consumer guarantee, we will meet the return-cost obligations that apply to the circumstances. For approved change-of-mind returns, any applicable postage arrangements will be communicated before the return is made.
8. Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Whether an order can be cancelled before dispatch depends on its processing status and applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation or refund rights you may have under applicable law.
9. Payment Disputes
If you believe a payment is incorrect or an order issue has not been resolved, please contact us first so we can investigate.
You may also contact your bank or payment provider to understand any available dispute process. Any such process is separate from, and does not remove, your statutory consumer rights.
